POSCA Paint Markers
*Lauren's Pick*
POSCA markers are water-based paint pens that write on almost any surface — paper, wood, canvas, fabric, ceramic, glass, metal, stone — and dry to a bold, opaque, permanent finish on porous materials. Each size opens up a different kind of mark:
- PC-1MR — extra-fine 0.7mm pin/needle tip, metal-ringed for precision. Best for fine detail, technical linework, and signing pieces.
- PC-1M — extra-fine oval bullet tip, 0.7mm line. A touch softer than the 1MR, great for small-format detail work.
- PC-3M — fine bullet tip, 0.9–1.3mm, a dual-sided removable nib. The everyday, do-it-all POSCA size.
- PC-5M — medium bullet tip, 1.8–2.5mm. One of the most popular sizes — versatile enough for lettering, filling, and outlining alike.
- PC-5BR — semi-flexible brush tip, blending fluidity and precision for fine to thicker lines. Great for expressive strokes and shading.
- PC-7M — broad bullet tip, 4.5–5.5mm, built for large-format coverage.
- PC-8K — 8mm broad chisel tip; the angled sides give you both bold coverage and cleaner edges — popular for lettering too.
- PC-17K — 15mm extra-broad chisel tip for laying down large fields of color fast.
-
PCF-350 — soft brush tip with variable-width strokes, ideal for calligraphy and coloring.
From ultra-fine detail work to bold, large-format coverage, our POSCA lineup has a tip for every project — pin-fine PC-1MR up through the 15mm chisel PC-17K, plus brush tips for calligraphy and expressive strokes.
