This set gives you two blending tools that work as a team: a woodless Full Blender and a wood-cased Pencil Blender, both made from a colorless oil-wax medium. Basically, they let you blend and soften colored pencil, graphite, or wax pastel without changing the color underneath — just smoothing it out and making it richer.

They also leave behind a light gloss and add some water and UV protection, so if you're working with watercolor pencils, running one of these over your work afterward actually helps it hold up better over time.

The Full Blender is hexagonal and has no wood casing, so you can use the flat side for bigger areas or the edge for finer detail — and it changes shape a bit as you use it.
